Notification for South Carolina

Dear Customer,

We have some important information about your wireless service that we wanted you to know as soon as possible.

U.S. Cellular® has recently signed an agreement to sell certain assets in South Carolina to Verizon, including our wireless license used to deliver your cellular service. When we fully transition the assets to Verizon, we will cease operations in your area and you will no longer be able to receive service from us. We expect the transaction will close in October 2019, but we will contact you when we have an exact date.

In the meantime, you may continue using U.S. Cellular as your carrier, no action is required today. As we get closer to the transition date, we'll provide you with more detailed information including a timeline of your options to port your wireless service to another carrier. Be assured that you will have plenty of time to select your next wireless service carrier.

Please contact us if you have any questions. You can call Customer Service at 611 at no charge from your U.S. Cellular phone.

It's been our pleasure to serve you, and we regret any inconvenience this change may cause you.
